My name is Michelle Abbott and I am a designer from the San Francisco Bay Area. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design from San Diego State University (SDSU). In my time at SDSU, I enjoyed more than just my studio arts courses. I found myself wake boarding for class credit, thoroughly enjoying philosophy and sociology lectures, and learned that I had even more skill and patience to design after hours and hours in the studio.
Launching from the foundation I built at SDSU, I began working as a graphic designer in Sausalito, CA where I honed in on my graphic design skills while simultaneously learning about the business side of design and the home goods industry.
When I am not involving myself with the design world, you can find me traveling, researching new topics of interest, reading, running, practicing yoga, and constantly exploring my surroundings. I am passionate about the world around me and believe that travel and cultural immersion is an integral part of a healthy and successful life. I draw inspiration from my experiences and apply these in my designs. I maintain a personal interest in sustainability and eco-friendly solutions in the graphic arts, and I am dedicated to improving myself and my work through innovative problem solving and persistent curiosity.
